I was diagnosed with locally advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer back in 2007. The original purpose of this blog was to serve as a diary for me. By the grace of God, I survived and my writings grew from this blog into a newspaper column and eventually into a book called "Living with Lung Cancer -- My Journey". I self-published the book in 2012 to serve as a guide to newly diagnosed patients about what the journey will be like. This is my story.

Before and After CT Scan
I thought you would be interested in seeing the results of the CT Scan. Here is a view of the tumor at its largest before chemo radiation. The dark area is my lung and the gray matter on the left side is the tumor.
The following picture is a view of the same tumor at its largest after chemo. As you can see, the tumor is significantly reduced in size. You've got to admit this is pretty amazing.
