Remember I blogged about going to Ft Lauderdale and visiting an old college friend who lives in Miami Beach? Here is a picture from that evening that I found. From left to right it is me, Dennis Kainen, Dennis's Mom, his partner, and another college friend, Art Harris, a freelance journalist. Art was recently on ABC's Dateline; after nine years of investigating he claims to have figured out who killed John Walsh's (host of America's Most Wanted) son. According to Art, he has proof that it was likely the serial killer Jeffrey Dahlmer. (If you google Art Harris you can see the video story.) Can't say that those x-rays give me a warm and fuzzy feeling but it is good to see them. It's also good to see that you are playing golf as usual and are even able to have a few cocktails now and again(other than the chemo cocktails they are feeding you). Have a happy turkey week! XOXO
Blood work looks just fine. I can hardly believe your Hemoglobin is so good!! Cat scan is something. I don't remember those guys from GW were they freinds of Tom Witt and Luther Ligget too?? It will be interesting to see what the repeat scan shows.

At least this way Janie you can keep an eye on my bloodwork and explain to me what is up; I don't know what to think. When does the problems (anemia for example) begin to present? It appears that some good cells are being destroyed...but it really does not give me high confidence that the cancer cells are being much harmed. Of course, cancer cells are fast growing, but the bloodwork does not really tell you much, other than your ability to tolerate the treatment. At least that is my undestanding.
